Cement Grinding Operation

Grinding is operated at the beginning and the end of the cement production line. About 1.5 tonnes of raw materials are required to produce 1 tonne of finished cement. The electrical energy consumed in the cement production process is in order of 110 kWh/tonne and about 30% of which is used for the raw materials processing and about 40% for the final cement production by cement clinker grinding. Production costs and environmental concerns are emphasizing the need to use less energy and therefore the development of more energy efficient machines for grinding and classification.

300 TPD Cement Grinding Plant

We design and manufacture a comprehensive line of grinding mills and entire grinding systems for mining, industrial minerals industry, coal and cement, including classifiers and related accessories for both wet and dry grinding systems. The cement grinding plant capacity ranges from 50 tpd to 1000tpd. The 300 tpd cement grinding plant is good choice for small and medium cement production plant. The cement grinding mill includes ball mill, vertical roller mill, Raymond mill, ultrafine mill etc.

Ball mill for Cement Production line

The most common equipment for cement grinding is a ball mill, a horizontal steel tube filled with steel balls. Material fed through the mill is crushed by impact and ground by attrition between the balls. For increased efficiency, the closed-circuit systems are widely used in cement grinding, in which the material exiting the ball mill is directed to the separator and divided into coarse and fine fractions. The coarse fraction is sent to the mill's inlet for regrind, whereas the fine fraction becomes the cement.
