Precautions for operation of cone crusher

The long-term efficient operation of the cone crusher is inseparable from the correct operation of the equipment. Below we will look at the cone crusher in operation from four aspects: preparation before startup, precautions during operation, feed precautions, and pre-stop precautions. Some issues that need attention.

1. Preparation before starting

The operator should memorize the operation rules, wear work clothes, wear hard hats, gloves and masks and other supplies to prevent accidents during the operation;
Check whether the fastening screws are loose and fastened, and clear the debris in the crushing cavity and obstacles around the motor;
Adjust the gap of the mine outlet to the specified standard;
Check whether the power supply is normal and ensure that the protection devices are normal;
Check whether the material to be crushed meets the crushing requirements of the equipment. If it does not, it should be reprocessed in time and then crushed again.

2. Precautions during operation

After the cone crusher runs at no load for 1 to 2 minutes, then turn on the belt and start feeding;
Pay attention to observe whether there is a blockage in the crushing chamber during operation, and if there is a blockage, immediately clean up
Regularly check the thin oil lubrication system to maintain the height of the oil surface in the oil tank, the output oil pressure is not lower than the rated oil pressure (0.8Kg/c㎡), and the oil return temperature is not higher than 45℃;
During the operation of the machine, pay attention to whether the equipment has increased oil temperature and air enters the hydraulic system.
To prevent excessive oil pressure, if the oil pressure exceeds 2Kg/c㎡, it will splash and hurt people;

3. Matters needing attention

Correctly select the crushing cavity for the crushed materials, and the proportion of feeding particle size is appropriate;
Appropriate selection of sieve specifications for pre-screening and closed-circuit screening, and pre-screening of materials with high powder content;
Feeding is guaranteed to be continuous, uniform and full load.

4. Precautions before shutdown

When the machine is about to shut down, stop feeding first, wait until all the materials in the crushing chamber have been crushed, then turn off the main motor, and finally turn off the oil pump motor;
After shutdown, check whether the components of the cone crusher are normal and non-destructive, and handle any abnormalities immediately;
It is recommended to cover the cone crusher with a cover to prevent the equipment from being damaged by rain and sunlight for a long time.
