1. Start at full load.

2. Delay start.

3. Start sequentially.

The motors of multi-machine-driven belt conveyors must be started one by one in order to reduce the starting current and starting impact, and reduce the starting tension of the conveyor belt.

4. Balance the load.

When the belt conveyor is running, the unbalanced load of each motor is often caused by the difference in motor characteristics, the efficiency of the reducer, the elastic deformation of the conveyor belt, the size deviation of the driving roller, etc., which is not good for the normal operation of the system, so the belt conveyor is driven Must be load balanced.

5. Synchronous drive.

For multi-machine-driven belt conveyors, the speed of the rollers in each drive station must be consistent, otherwise the fast-rotating rollers will be stressed, and the slow-rotating rollers will rub against the conveyor belt, consuming power, forming resistance, and reducing the total driving power, so it is synchronized Drive is very important.

6. Overload protection.

The drive system must have an overload protection function. When the system is overloaded or malfunctions, it can protect the belt conveyor, especially the conveyor belt, from damage.
