SBM Crusher Contributions to Saudi Arabia NEOM Project

NEOM is considered the most futuristic city of humanity. The project was initiated by the King of Saudi Arabia, who hoped to create an architectural miracle as iconic and eternal as the Egyptian pyramids. According to the plan, the city will be initially completed in 2030. After completion, the new future city will become an artificial intelligence city.

How Did SBM Establish Initial Contact With the NEOM Project?

In February 2023, SBM reached a cooperation with the subcontractor on one of the port projects on the Red Sea Coast of NEOM Future City. The customer purchased 2 units of SBM's NK75J portable crusher plants, which have been put into operation in May 2023, supplying finished products for port construction.

Further Cooperation Between SBM and NEOM Future City

In addition to the port project, SBM has also cooperated with a leading local company in Saudi Arabia to build a fixed granite crushing production line with an output of 200-250 tons per hour.

This project is located in the Tabuk mining area, using SBM's PEW760 jaw crusher, HST250H1 cone crusher, VSI5X9532 sand making machine, S5X2160-2 one unit + S5X2160-4 one unit, as well as all belt conveyors. The feed size is no more than 700mm, and the product sizes are 3/4, 3/8 and 3/16 inch respectively. The finished materials are supplied to local concrete mixing stations and are eventually used in the construction of NEOM Future City.

This project has completed shipment in August 2023 and is expected to be put into production in March 2024.
