Sand Processing Plant
In order to reach a high-quality final result, in sand making production process, each crusher stage needs to be optimized – it is not a good approach to try to repair an insignificantly crushed product by the final crusher stage alone.
The installation of sand making machine has proved to be an effective way of producing cubical (even rounded) particles in the small and medium size fractions (< approx 5 mm). It is however a challenge to avoid generating of a high percentage of fines. The latest generation of dry screening equipment combined with the latest development of air classification have, however, enabled to govern the grading curve very precisely, including the finest part.
For quality sand making, adopted a combination of two technologies, that of cone crusher and autogenous VSI5X crushers. These machines complement each other to produce manufactured sand of excellent quality.
The feed of this plant consists of 5 products generated in the crushing of conventional aggregates with top size of 32 mm and majority of the feed consisting of fraction 11-22mm. In quarry manufactured sand processing plant, some other machinery is also applied such as vibratory screens, screw washers, hydrocyclones and dewatering screens.
The VSI5X sand making machine has had a huge impact on the global quarrying and minerals processing industries. The VSI5X sand maker is unique due to its crushing process. Whereas most other types of crusher use metallic parts to crush rock, the VSI5X uses the rock fed into the machine to crush itself. This autogenous crushing process produces the best-shaped aggregate on the market today.
