1. Can Raymond Mill Be Used As A Vertical Mill?

For this question, the answer is obvious. Raymond mill is not a vertical mill, so it can't be used as a vertical mill. The two are not exactly the same in terms of working principle, floor space, internal structure and processing capacity.

① Different in working principles

Vertical mill: The material falls on the grinding disc and moves evenly to the edge under the action of centrifugal force. When passing through the roller grinding area of the vertical mill, the material will be crushed by grinding roller, and the large size material is directly crushed and the fine material is also crushed after crushing. When passing through the separator, under the action of the rotor blades, the coarse particles return to the grinding disc for grinding again, and the qualified fine powder will be expelled along with the airflow.

Raymond mill: The larger size material will be crushed by crusher first to the required size, and then be sent to the grinding chamber of the Raymond mill for grinding. The ground material will be sent to the classifier by the airflow of the fan for classification. ②Different in size

The Raymond mill adopts a low-resistance arc-shaped air duct with tangential air flow. ④ Different in processing capacity

Although both two mills can process materials such as limestone, calcite, dolomite, petroleum coke, gypsum, barite, marble, talc, coal powder, etc., the processing strengths such as feed size and capacity are different.
