Iron ore processing process

The process flow of iron ore processing includes crushing process, grinding process and sorting process, among which sorting process mainly includes gravity separation, magnetic separation and flotation. Due to the differences in the nature of the ore, the processes and equipment used are also different, but most iron ore processing techniques need to go through the following stages.

1 Primary crushing stage. Large pieces of iron ore are sent to the jaw crusher by a vibrating feeder for preliminary crushing. After the iron ore reaches a certain size, it enters the next step.

2 Secondary crushing stage. After the primary crushed iron ore is screened by the circular vibrating screen, it is transported by the belt conveyor to the cone crusher for the secondary crushing process.

3 grinding stage. In order to improve the fineness of iron ore, the iron ore after the secondary crushing enters the ball mill for grinding to meet a certain fineness requirement.

4 Magnetic separation stage. The materials enter the magnetic separator to complete the magnetic separation stage, and the finished materials are stored in the collection bin.
